Frequently asked questions
Do the labels come on a roll?
Labels are mailed on flat sheets to save on shipping costs. We ship via USPS using 6x9" envelopes (or cardboard mailers for larger orders) so your order will arrive with your regular mail delivery.
Are the labels glossy/shiny?
We currently only offer matte-finish white labels.
Will my order have tracking?
Basic tracking info is provided from Post Office scans while your order is on its way. This is *not* USPS Package Tracking - your item won't be scanned by hand upon delivery and the tracking number can't be looked up on the USPS site. It's a number generated here by Etsy and used for lightweight items. It is a small barcode scanned by machines at various Post Offices to show proof of shipment and a general location. It is not as precise as package tracking. Just like sending a letter in the mail, but with a bit more information. Sometimes the status will be prematurely switched to "Delivered" when the order arrives at the destination post office, but it usually arrives in the next few days.
Is the delivery estimate a "Guaranteed" delivery date?
Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee or predict date of delivery, even though Etsy provides an estimate. The delivery estimate you see when you place an order is the processing time + the "typical" transit time to your zip code. However, this is not a Guarantee and Etsy shops can't be responsible for USPS delays. Delays can and do occur, sometimes for no apparent reason. If you truly must receive your item by a certain day, we highly recommend upgrading to Priority shipping which is an on average 1-4 business day delivery time, and includes tracking.
Help! I got the email from Etsy that my order was delivered but it's not here!
It should arrive with in the next couple of days :) The tracking provided by Etsy for lightweight items such as ours is not as precise as package tracking. There is a small barcode which is scanned by machines at the post office to give a general location of the envelope. Sometimes the location status is switched to Delivered in error, when it is at the destination post office. Unlike package labels these barcodes are not scanned by hand by the postal worker upon delivery. We use this type of basic tracking to save on shipping costs and offer free shipping on all orders :)
